The opposition UNM has been highlighting the economic problems in the country recently. The opposition leaders predict the decline of economic growth and think that the country is facing a fiscal deficit. They think that political instability is discouraging foreign direct investments into the country. Therefore, serious preventive steps should be taken; otherwise the conditions of Georgian citizens will deteriorate.
The Georgian Dream meanwhile, denies an economic crisis and explains the temporary slowing down of investments by the fact of the change in the government and introducing reforms in the country, which eventually will greatly improve economic situation in the country.
