On November 5-19, 2014 Georgia will hold a census. It was announced that the money spent on the census will be USD 2.7 for each citizen. Russia spent 4 USD for each person, whereas the US – 43 USD. The previous census in Georgia was held in 2002, while the next census was supposed to be held in 2012, due to different reasons (maybe because of the forthcoming elections at the end of that year), the Georgian government did not carry out the census.
