Iran, Georgia sign cooperation agreement

Iranian and Georgian officials inked an agreement on expansion of bilateral cooperation in free trade zones in the two countries, IRNA reported on Sunday. According to the agreement, free zones in Iran and Georgia's Kutaisi will boost bilateral economic cooperation, head of Aras Free Trade and Industrial Zone Organization, Sadeq Najafi said. The Georgian side along with a number of foreign investors, will visit the Iranian free zones in the near future to review avenues to make investment in trade and industrial areas, said Najafi. The agreement was signed by the two during the visit of the Iranian officials' to Kutaisi.
