Natural gas extraction in Azerbaijan remains stable

Azeri state oil company SOCAR reports that the extraction of the natural gas fields of Azerbaijan will be maintained with the level of 2012. In 2011 SOCAR extorted 7.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas; in 2012 – 6.9 billion. As for oil extraction – SOCAR is preparing a new program envisaging the increase of extraction in 2013-2015. This should be achieved by improving the technology and machinery.
