Georgia and Azerbaijan may cooperate in producing combat planes

The Azeri media reports that Georgia and Azerbaijan may cooperate in producing new combat jet planes. If built the planes would be assembled at a Georgian aircraft factory. The Azeri military welcome cooperation and the decision to finance this project is currently under discussion in Azerbaijan.
The Azeri media also reports that Azerbaijan purchased about a dozen SU-25 fighter planes from a Georgian aircraft company in 2002-2003.
