For the last several years the demand of Georgian sheep has increased. Mostly form Arab countries such as Kuwait, Dubai, Libya, Qatar, Syria and others. So the farmers involved in sheep breading received more incentives for their activities. The problems these farmers face are of a different character, the most important is the decreasing amount of pastures.
The Ministry of Agriculture has to elaborate modern approaches for creating more favorable conditions for the farmers regarding this sector.
