In the first five months of 2013, the foreign trade turnover has reached $3.8 billion. This figure does not include unorganized border trade and so-called suitcase business. However, this figure is 4% less than in the same period last year. Georgia’s largest trade partner during this period is Turkey ($574 million), Azerbaijan – ($508 million) and Ukraine – ($279 million). The major imported product in Georgia are oil and oil products followed by automobiles and natural gas; as for the export – automobiles are first, followed by ferroalloys and fertilizers.
