Salaries of school principals to increase to 600 GEL
Netgazeti reports that the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, shared information about the increase of salaries for the school principals and other staff members at a meeting with the administrations of the public schools at the Teacher’s House.
According to Netgazeti, the current salaries of school principals is 460 GEL, while from September, 2013 it will increase to 600 GEL. Meanwhile, the deputy directors will receive 400 GEL instead of 335 and the coordinators who provide public schools with material-technical assistance will have 300 GEL instead of 230. The salary of cleaners is also increasing from 115 GEL to 210.
Market vendors will not use cash machines till January 1, 2014
Interpressnews reports that the market vendors were postponed the obligation to use cash machines till January 1, 2014, as a result of the changes to the Tax Code carried out by the Parliament last week. Before the amendments, the vendors would have no right to work without the cash machines from July 1 this year.
The parliamentary amendments consider releasing those physical entities with the obligation to use cash machines that are carrying out activities without hiring other labor forces and work on the counters on the territory of the market.
