The current Georgian leadership explains that some economic setbacks in Georgia might be determined by the problem of crisis in neighboring Turkey. Turkey is a major trade partner of Georgia with the highest trade turnover. Turkey is also the only land root which connects Georgia with Europe. So, any kind of instability in the Turkish economy has an impact on Georgia.
However, it is unfair to blame only Georgia's neighbors in the problems Georgia is facing nowadays. The country’s relevant bodies should take preventive measures to maintain the economy at the required level.
