Georgian authorities aired the information on the possible construction of 500 kilowatt electro-transmission line between Georgia and Russia in the near future. The place of construction of this line has not yet been revealed by either of the sides. However, this project would definitely facilitate the further enlargement of the connecting bonds between the two countries. Presumably the electric connection line will be activated in 2017 and according to the preliminary estimates it will cost $50 million USD.
