Azerbaijan to stop wheat import into the country

Azerbaijan wheat production has increased for the last several years and eventually it has come to the situation when the country can stop importing the wheat from the foreign countries as Azerbaijan can now satisfy its needs. So far Azerbaijan has been importing wheat from Kazakhstan. According to the food security state program Azerbaijan plans to stop importing the wheat and other cereals as it can satisfy its own needs on those products from 2015.
