TAP to bring Georgia $2 billion

Georgia’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, Teimuraz Sharashenidze, recently stated that deepening relations with Azerbaijan is a priority for Georgia. He also said that successful implementation of the Trans-Anatolian pipeline (TAP) will bring an extra $2 billion in investment to Georgia. The ambassador also explained that the TAP and the beginning of a functioning Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will further deepen bilateral cooperation between the two countries. According to the ambassador, Azeri businessmen are creating jobs in Georgia.
