Trade turnover with Ukraine increases

The trade turnover between Georgia and Ukraine in 2013 will exceed $1 billion, according to most economic estimates. The first two quarters of 2013 saw a significant increase in trade between the two countries. In 2012 the trade turnover between Georgia and Ukraine was approximately $794 million. Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Alexander Vilkul said during his meeting with the Georgian ambassador to Ukraine Mikheil Ukleba, that the tendency of further increases in trade exists.
