Unemployment increases

According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, for the last six months, unemployment has increased in Georgia. At the end of 2012 the number of people employed was 527,828, by the second quarter of 2013, the number of employed decreased to 503,456. The only direction where the number of employed people has increased is the agricultural sector where 2,667 more people have been employed compared to previous year. There is a slight increase of people working in industry; however, there is a considerable decrease in the construction sector.
