Head of GPB board of trustees replies to PM

Prime Time reports that the head of the board of trustees at Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) has replied to Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili’s statement that the board should not interfere with GPB's activities. Emzar Goguadze denied that the board interferes with GPB's broadcasts or editing in any way and said he is willing to discuss the board of trustee's activities with the prime minister.

Ivanishvili has claimed that GPB was formerly under the control of the United National Movement government.



No bombs found at Rustavi 2 and Imedi TV

Tabula reports that no bombs were found at either at Rustavi 2 or Imedi TV. The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has identified the person who called 112 to report bombs being sent to both television stations. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
