Brzezinski: Ukraine Russia’s target

World reknown American political analyst Zbigniew Brzezinski has recently stated that the Russian-led customs union targeting Ukraine. Brzezinski predicts that Moscow will put extra pressure on Kiev before the Vilnius Summit. Russia can exercise various levers to influence the decisions of its neighbor. Geographically, Russia and Ukraine are neighbors. Ukraine consumes Russian oil and natural gas. Their economies are in close relations. Moscow has already started blackmailing Ukraine and Moldova by creating problems for the products from these countries. Moldavian wines have been banned in Russia, as well as Ukrainian candies. Armenia which has no direct border with Russia was also blackmailed and forced to reject its Eastern Partnership bit and agree to join the Customs Union instead.
