In August 2013 money transfers into Georgia reached $129 million which is 13 million higher than the same period last year. The statistics shows that most of the money inflow in the country comes from Russia, followed by Greece, Italy, US, Turkey, Ukraine, and Spain. The analysts think that the inflow of money from Russia might begin to increase in the near future because with relaxing tension between the two countries more Georgians have started moving to the Russian Federation. On the one hand, lifting the embargo on the agricultural products made it easier for Georgians to travel to Russia.
