Some time ago, the Georgian government adopted plans for the strategic development of its regions. The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure has carried out its work and suggested a plan that embraces more than 270 million GEL and with this money around 8, 000 small and medium-sized infrastructural projects will be implemented. That will eventually facilitate the improvement of people's life ambitions in the regions.
The projects include the rehabilitation and construction of roads and bridges, the rehabilitation of drinking water systems and sewage facilities, kindergartens, the installation of lighting in residential places, the organization of small sports arenas, as well as parks and recreational zones, and other projects designed for welfare of the population.
