GDP growth in the 2nd quarter reaches 1.5%

According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) in the 2nd quarter of 2013, GDP grew by 1.5%, while total GDP reached over 6 billion GEL. GDP per capita reached 1,446 GEL. The biggest share in GDP belongs to industry 16 %, followed by trade – 16.7%, transport and communication – 10.9%, governance, agriculture and fishery, as well as healthcare and social protection are also on the list.
