Poor investments into the country

The Georgian Dream Coalition Government promised before 2013 that the year Georgia would receive $2 billion USD foreign direct investments (FDI). Government officials repeated this often. However, just recently, Financial Minister Nodar Khaduri confirmed that the country would not be able to achieve these lofty goals. According to the primary official data in the first half of the year ,Georgia received approximately $459 million USD.
