Construction of Tetnuldi alpine ski resort to start next spring

The Regional Development and Infrastructure Ministry report that the construction of the alpine ski resort Tetnuldi in the Svaneti region is expected to start in spring 2014, while most of the the work should be completed by the end of the same year.
The ministry noted that preparatory activity will wrap-up this December, after which a tender will be announced in order to select a company for the construction work.
According to the ministry, total cost of the six ropeways amounts to 18 million EUR (VAT excluded). Of the six ropeways, 2 have already been built, while construction of the remaining 4 will cost about 30-32 million GEL. (BPI)
