Budgetary problems

Friday, November 8
There are claims that the country's economy is a mess. The Finance Ministry, however, claims there are no serious problems with the country's budget. This opinion is still being challenged by some analysts. Official data from the Ministry of Finance shows that for the next two months around 1.8 billion lari is needed to meet all expenditures.

Critics of the United National Movement (UNM) claim that the country's budgetary problems are a result of the UNM's fiscal irresponsibility. According to these detractors, when the Georgian Dream government came into office last year, they discovered that nearly all the UNM's economic claims were made on distorted information.
