The prospect of cattle export of Georgia

Georgian agricultural sector continues exporting cattle and sheep from the country. In the first three quarters of 2013, Georgia exported cattle worth 34 million USD, while sheep worth 8 million USD was also exported. The major destination for the cattle and sheep export is Azerbaijan. According to the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, the country has enough potential to increase the amount of cattle and sheep and, accordingly, increase their export.
