Ukrainian events might hinder its trade

Georgian analysts think that the prolonged crisis in Ukraine can create problems for trade turnover between Georgia and Ukraine because the latter is among the largest partners for Georgia. First among Georgia’s trade partners comes Turkey at $1.2 billion, followed by Azerbaijan - $1 billion and Ukraine - $629 million. Georgian officials and independent analysts are worried about the possible problems in this direction.
Observation of the last several years show that trade turnover with Ukraine has been increasing.
