Fuel price problems

When the Georgian Dream coalition entered office one of its promises was to bring down the price of fuel in the country.
The coalition then stated that the fuel prices had been at least 15-20 tetri more expensive than it should have been and this extra amount of money went into the United National Movement’s pockets.
More than one year later, the fuel price is approximately the same. When the fuel price worldwide fluctuates and goes down it does not necessarily influence the Georgian market and the prices remain the same. However, if the international prices go up, the Georgian market responds immediately.
Various analysts still think that there are certain violations going on within the fuel market.
