Georgian PM urges state institutions not to spend budget funds for New Year parties
Thursday, December 26
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili urged state institutions not to spend budget funds on holding New Year corporate parties.
"Based on the fact that we pay particular attention to the rational expenditure of budgetary funds, I urge government agencies, legal entities of public law and non-business entities to not use budget funds for corporate events," said the Georgian PM.
He said the Georgian government fully realizes public servants' liabilities to the law and the state, and believes that this decision is a step forward in the country's democratic development. (Trend)
