Some positive results of 2013

Georgian officials tried to evaluate their achievements in 2013. Among those was the fact that foreign trade turnover came to $10.7 million, which is 6% higher than the previous year. In 2013 the export figure increased by 25%, which is about $3 billion. Thus, the trade deficit was decreased by 9%. According to official statistics in 2013, around 30,000 jobs were created in the country. Incoming money transfers have also increased. Among the countries from were Georgia receives money transfers, Russia is the leader, followed by Greece, Italy, the US and so on.
