Armenia’s migration issues

Armenia’s negative migration process slowed in 2013. Last year, less people left Armenia than in 2012. 2.47 million people entered Armenia in 2013. Meanwhile 2.5 million people left the country that year. Although there is a negative balance, less people have left Armenia last year than in 2012.

It is interesting to mention that around 50% of the people entering or leaving Armenia crossed the border at the Bargatasheni checkpoint at Armenian-Georgian border.
