Money transfers from Russia to the CIS countries

In January-September 2013 money transfers form Russia to the CIS countries reached almost 17 billion USD, which is 20% more than in 2012. The largest amount of money was to Uzbekistan – 5 billion USD, followed by Ukraine and Tajikstan – 2.7 billion USD each. 1.5 billion USD was transferred to Moldova, 1.4 billion to Kyrgyzstan, 1.2 billion to Armenia, 892 million to Azerbaijan, 679 million to Belarus, 254 million to Kazakhstan, and 24 million to Turkmenistan.
