Utility payment will not decrease

Before coming to the administration, the Georgian Dream coalition promised to decrease communal tariffs. So, finally in 2013, Georgian Dream decreased electricity tariffs by four tetris and the natural gas tariffs by five tetris.
Although it was promised that these tariffs would be further decreased, it became a reality that the tariffs would not go down. The tariff of natural gas consumption in Georgia is 45 tetris, whereas in Azerbaijan it is 22 tetris, in Turkmenistan 1 tetri, in Kazakhstan – 15 tetris, in Ukraine – 20 tetris, in Russia - 19 tetris, in Armenia – 63 tetris, and in Turkey – 48 tetris.
In 2013 Georgia consumed about 1.9 billion cubic meters of gas.
