Georgia’s foreign trade turnover increases by 15% in January

Georgia's foreign trade turnover (excluding non-organized trade) totaled $761 million in January, which is 15 percent more than figures for previous month, according to preliminary data from Georgian National Statistics Office (GeoStat).

Exports amounted to $224 million (14 percent more) while imports stood at $538 million (15 percent more).

The negative trade balance amounted to $314 million, or 41 percent of foreign trade. (Trend)
