We are observing very strange developments in the Georgian economy. Economists say that Georgia is experiencing economic growth. However, the number of unemployed people keeps rising in the country.
According to the official data, in the fourth quarter of 2012, there were 527,000 jobs. A year later, the number of jobs fell to 519,000.
The majority of people work in trade and construction. Currently, the largest increase of jobs was observed in the education sphere, the largest decrease was seen in the fishing industry.
