On March 14 the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran discussed the issue of the possible connection of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars and Nakhchivan-Julpa-Tavriz railways.
If the project is implemented the railway connection between Europe and Asia will become very intensive and facilitate an efficient connection between Beijing and London – particularly now when the tunnel has started functioning under the Bosporus connecting Asia with Europe.
Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway construction will be finished in the middle of 2015.
