Almost 3 billion barrels of oil exported through Ceihan

Starting from June 2006 to April 4th 2014, 2480 tankers were loaded with oil in port of Ceihan, Turkey, exporting 1,907 billion barrels of oil.
Together with the oil from Azerbaijan, the Baku-Tbilisi–Ceihan pipeline also transports Turkmen oil and additionally there is an agreement for transporting oil from Kazakhstan through the same route.
The BTC capacity allows for the transportation of 1.2 million barrels daily.
