Penalties for citizens

The state budget received 650 million GEL in total revenues from fees collected over the last five years.

It means that approximately every Georgian citizen, including children, has paid more than 30 laris annually in penalties.

Most of the fees came from car owners in the form of parking fines. Plea bargains have also been the source of revenue.
