Employment in Georgia

The research of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) revealed some interesting figures concerning the employment issue in Georgia. 33% of those responding said they are employed either full or part-time, 28% are unemployed and looking to find a job, 7% are unemployed but are not looking for a job, 32% are not active. These are students, pensioners, homemakers, and those who are not looking for a job.

43% of the interviewed think that jobs are decreasing in Georgia, 49% think that the number of jobs are the same.
