Cheap agro credits

According to May 1, 2014 data of the cheap agro credits project, more then 354 million GEL was distributed among farmers. This is an unprecedented investment for the agricultural sector. 16,585 beneficiaries were chosen according to six components.
64 new enterprises were created in different segments of the agricultural sector. The project embraces all the regions of Georgia. However, the most active are Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli and Shida Kartli.
The biggest portion of financing went to wine production, refrigerator facilities, storing ware-houses, and chicken breeding.
