Geologists know very well that there are more than three hundred zones in Georgia under a landslide threat. There are some places even in Tbilisi where there is a serious risk of landslide.
The Georgian population should be warned to stop constructing buildings in areas of extreme risk. It is also urgently needed to plant trees around the country, especially in the potential landslide areas.
