Azerbaijan renewed gas supply to Russia

Azeri state oil company SOCAR president Rovnag Abdulaev stated that on June 3 the country resumed its natural gas supply to Russia. The export of Azeri gas to Russia was temporally suspended due to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of works on the road connecting Azerbaijan with the Russian Federation. Therefore, the process of transmission was suspended. Russia and Azerbaijan have been actively cooperating in terms of gas supply since 2009.
