Georgia’s tax policy discussed with members of IMF technical assistance mission

Georgia's Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri met with the members of the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Technical Assistance Mission on June 11, the country's Finance Ministry told Trend. The parties discussed Georgia's tax policy and the measures to be taken by this country's government to create a healthy tax system that in turn will contribute to the economic growth and equitable redistribution of revenues. The meeting was also attended by the deputies of Georgia's finance minister, David Lezhava and Lasha Khutsishvili, head of the Tax Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance, Mamuka Baratashvili and IMF Resident Representative in Georgia Azim Sadykov.

IMF Technical Assistance Mission arrived in Tbilisi at the invitation of the country's finance minister for a two-day visit. (Trend.az)
