State to subsidize vintage in Kakheti

The 2014 vintage is still far away and the state has once again decided to subsidize Kakheti’s winemaking efforts. During the last vintage, farmers of the region received more than 100 million GEL income, the Ministry of Agriculture stated. More than 85 companies received 88,000 tonnes of grape. The harvest for 2014 is expected to be even larger.

The Ministry of Agriculture and other institutions are getting ready to successfully organize the 2014 vintage.
