Georgian Orthotist- prosthetists will study U.S. modern prosthetic technology

A Georgian orthotists and a prosthetists left for the United States with the aim of enhancing their professional qualifications. Advisor to the Minister of Defence of Georgia Paata Patiashvili accompanied them to Tbilisi International Airport.
Kakhaber Katamadze and Zurab Aptsiauri will be getting familiarized with modern Ottobock- type technologies at the Peter Harsch Prosthetics Center in San Diego, California for a month. They will adopt the rules on how to make use of German-made prosthetics of the highest quality to help the wounded soldiers adjust to the cutting-edge mio-electric and bionic prostheses. After finishing a special course, they will be granted certificates and a special code.
