Azerbaijan and Italy sign several documents

Several documents were signed between Azerbaijan and Italy as part of President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Italy.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi signed the "Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Italy."

"The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Italian Republic on maritime transport" was signed by Energy Minister Natig Aliyev and Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Telecommunications, Italy Maurizio Lupi.

The "Memorandum of Understanding on Economic Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Italian Republic" was signed by Azerbaijani ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadigov and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Italy Carlo Kalenda.

The "Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of culture between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, cultural and tourism activities of the Italian Republic" was signed by the Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev and State Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, cultural activities and tourism Italy Francesca Barrachchiu.

The "Memorandum of understanding on sports cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Republic and the Department of Regional Affairs, autonomies and sports - office Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic" was signed by Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Secretary of State Ministers of Italy Graziano Delrio.
