Income not equal in Georgia

The income of the Georgian population is increasing, but very slowly. Therefore, the country is listed near the bottom in the ratings conducted in this regard.
In 2013 GDP per capita in Georgia reached 7,000 USD. According to this figure, Georgia occupies the 139th position among the world’s countries. Armenia takes 132th position, Ukraine 127th, Turkmenistan 105th, Belarus 89th, Azerbaijan 90th, Turkey 82th, and Russia 65th.
In this regard, Georgia is competing with such countries as Tajikistan, Kurgistan and Moldova. Observation reveals that the difference between rich and poor is very significant in the country. Georgia is among the countries where welfare is distributed unequally.
