Electricity price drops for commercial sector
Monday, August 25
The cost of electricity will drop for Georgian businesses.
The commercial sector will reap the benefits of cheaper electricity, following a decision made today by the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC).
The cost of electricity will slightly decrease for high and low voltages by about 0.07 lari and significantly decrease by 1.25 lari for medium voltage.
The price of power will remain the same for the general population, GNERC said.
The current tariffs will be valid until the end of 2015. For each subsequent year, the tariffs will be recalculated.
