Military Police Department has a new chief

Chief of the General Staff of Georgian Armed Forces Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze introduced the new Head of Military Police Department to Minister of Defence Irakli Alasania and the personnel of the MoD and Armed Forces. Upon the decision of a selection board, COL Arsen Tsukhishvili will lead the department. Previously he served as Deputy Chief of Defence in 2009-2013. From January 1 2014 to date COL Arsen Tsukhishvili worked in the GS Advisory Group.
Former Chief of the Military Police Department COL Kakhaber Chikhradze will assume the position of Deputy National Guard Commander. He will be working around the mobilization and reserve system of the National Guard. Minister Irakli Alasania and Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze thanked COL Arsen Tsukhishvili and Kakhaber Chikhradze for their service in the MoD and wished them success in their future activities.
