Revenue Service of Georgia will hold the Responsibility to Issue certificate of origin EUR.1 from September 1

The main part of the Association Agreement between Georgia and the EU, including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) came into force on September 1. According to the commitments within the framework of the agreement, the changes were made about the issuance of certificate of origin EUR.1. From September 1, entrepreneurs should get the certificate of origin to import their production in the regime of free trade in the EU at the Revenue Service of the Ministry of finance of Georgia.
The certificate of origin EUR.1 was issued by the Revenue Service of Georgia, as well as the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Georgian Chamber of Commerce and industry and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Autonomous Republic of Ajara. (Ministry of Economy)
