Georgia sends humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Georgia sent medical humanitarian aid to Ukraine Sept. 11. An armed confrontation among the center and the regions has continued for many months.
These are mainly medicines and bandages, the Georgian Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs said. This is medication for diabetics, vaccines for children, as well as first aid items. The humanitarian aid costs more than a million lari (about $600,000).Humanitarian aid is delivered to Ukraine by a cargo plane. This is the first phase of assistance.
