Cooperation Memorandum in the Field of Transport between Georgia and the Ukraine Signed

Mikheil Janelidze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Oksana Reiter, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of the Ukraine discussed the current actual issues in the Georgian-Ukrainian transport field at the meeting held on September 19, in Tbilisi.
The sides signed an agreement on Co-operation in the Field of Baltic and Black Sea Transport Corridor Development between the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. The above-mentioned will promote the development of competitiveness of transport corridor between Baltic and Black Sea and increase cargo turnover.
Oksana Reiter, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of the Ukraine is on an official visit in Georgia. Within the framework of the visit, the 5th session of the Georgian-Ukrainian auto-transport commission was held. The sides made a decision about the new universal multi permits that will facilitate international cargo transit for Georgian and Ukrainian parties.
Within the framework of the visit, Oksana Reiter, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of the Ukraine held meetings with the authorities of the Georgian Railway and the Georgia Post. The Deputy Minister also visited the Road Transport Agency and its training-center. (economy.ge)
