SOCAR builds new gas pipeline in Eastern Georgia

Energy minister Kakha Kaladze and representatives of the Azerbaijani company Socar Georgia gas took part in a ceremony of putting into operation of a new pipeline in the village of Ruisi of Kareli municipality (Shida Kartli district, eastern Georgia). The company Socar Georgia gas built a 42 kilometers long medium pressure pipeline in Ruisi, which will make it possible to provide 1,940 villagers with gas.
To date, 120 kilometers wide gas pipeline functions on the territory of the Kareli municipality, this made it possible to provide gas to 3,800 subscribers.
The total length of pipelines built in the Shida Kartli district is 314 kilometers, and 11,650 subscribers were provided with gas. (trend.az)
